Course Syllabus
Asana is a Sanskrit word that means "Yogic Postures or Movements". You will learn foundational and advanced postures including:
- Tadasana (Mountain Pose) & Trikonasana (Triangle Pose)
- Virabhadrasana I & II (Warrior Poses)
- Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Dog)
- Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) & Dhanurasana (Bow Pose)
- Ustrasana (Camel Pose) & Paschimottanasana (Forward Fold)
Learn life-force expansion through respiratory control. The syllabus covers:
- Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (Alternate Nostril Breathing)
- Kapalabhati Pranayama (Skull Shining Breath)
- Ujjayi Pranayama (Victorious Ocean Breath) & Bhramari (Bee Breath)
- Sheetali & Sheetkari (Cooling Breath)
- Bandhas (Mula, Uddiyana, Jalandhara locks) and mudra integrations
